Cold Extrusion Rebar Coupler

Cold extrusion rebar coupler is a portable system for field connection of rebar. This is a simple and efficient way to connect steel bars without having to prepare the ends in a factory.

Bolt Rebar Coupler

A kind of rebar coupler with screws that are designed to shear off at a specified torque. It includes standard bolt rebar coupler, head rebar coupler, and transition bolt rebar coupler. For making a splice between two fixed bars instead of welding, the rebars are inserted to meet at a center stop in the rebar coupler and the screws are tightened.
The tightening process embeds the pointed screws into the rebar. The screws can be tightened using a standard socket wrench or pneumatic impact wrench. Connected the same diameter rebars. Old reinforcement can easily be replaced when requirements demand. The process of coupling rebars between old buildings and new construction is just as simple. It is also very easy to connect in-situ, still intact, rebar to new rebar.

To install; slide the rebar ends into the coupler. A stop-pin is located at the middle of the coupler. Turn the screws in as far as possible. While screwing in the shear-off screws, the special hard- ened tip digs into the rebar, simultane- ously pressing it against the serrated runners. This creates a positive connec- tion between screw-tips and the rebar and between rebar, serrated runners and inner surface of the coupler.
